Who we are
This app is operated by Emanuel Pevsner, Israel (sole operator). Contact: emanuel@nexoagency.org. This policy covers the Shopify app Attest: EU Guarantee Notice.
What we store
About your shop - Your shop's myshopify.com domain and the Shopify access token that lets the app work. Deleted when you uninstall. - Your plan, and the date we last checked it. - The software-update and spare-parts text you type into the app. - Whether you have switched price recording on.
About your products — only if you switch price recording on: - For each product variant: its Shopify ID, its price and compare-at price, and the date we observed them. One record per variant per day. - We keep a log of which days a capture ran, so we can tell you honestly where the record has gaps.
About your products — only if you import GARAN data: - For each product you fill in: its Shopify ID and handle, and the three fields Annex II makes editable — brand, model and guarantee duration in years. Nothing else about the product is stored.
Not stored anywhere: the rules deciding which products show the guarantee notice. Those live in your theme's block settings, are evaluated by your theme, and never reach us. The compliance dashboard reads them back out of your theme each time you open it, and keeps no copy.
About your shoppers - Nothing. The app stores no shopper or customer personal data of any kind. The storefront blocks send us a product variant ID and nothing else — no cookies, no identifiers, no tracking, no profiling, no analytics.
From the green-claims scan - Nothing is stored. The scan reads your product text, produces a report in your browser, and keeps no copy.
What we can access
Two read-only Shopify permissions:
read_themes— to check whether the notice block is actually published.read_products— for the daily price record and the claims scan.
The app holds no write permissions. It cannot modify your products, theme, orders or customers. It has no access to orders or customer records at all.
Why we are allowed to do this
We process this data to perform our contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) — you installed the app to have it do these things. As no personal data of shoppers is involved, no consent banner is needed for our part of your storefront.
How long we keep it
- On uninstall: your access token and session are deleted immediately. Your price history is kept for a further 48 hours so a reinstall does not lose a record that takes 30 days to rebuild. - 48 hours after uninstall, Shopify sends a shop/redact request and we delete everything we hold for your shop: settings, price history, capture logs and GARAN product data. This is a genuine deletion, not a flag. - You can ask us to erase everything sooner at emanuel@nexoagency.org.
Who else sees it
- Shopify, as the platform.
- Render (application server) and Neon (database), both located in Frankfurt, Germany (EU), which runs our servers and database.
We use no analytics, advertising or tracking services, and we do not sell or share your data with anyone else.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your data, ask for a copy in a portable format, or object to processing. Write to emanuel@nexoagency.org and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your national data protection authority.
Changes
We will update this page and tell you in the app before any change that affects what we collect or why.
